Evidence

As some of you may remember from this post last year, I have a rather large garden every year.
We do this with my in-laws as a kind of a family plot.
My FIL keeps asking if we have seen evidence of the deer that are in the area, and until today we hadn't seen any.
Well that has changed!

I picked them and brought them home in the state that I found them in because this is my evidence.
THOSE ARE MY SPAGHETTI SQUASH!
And yes I did mean to yell that because that is exactly how I said it when I found them!
STUPID DEER!

Hi Sarah,
I tried growing a few plants last summer, mostly tomatoes. They were growing from gal. water bottles hanging from a tall hanging plant device so I thought they were safe. One day they looked amazing and the next the leaves were gone. Worms, who would have thought. Now I get all my stuff from the farmers market, Hope they leave you some to enjoy. By the way it is 105 here in NC today.

Our problem is slugs, yuck!! and black spot on the tomatoes and peppers. I'm not a very good gardener, sigh. But I keep learning and trying new things to keep the plants alive and producing longer each year. Human hair is supposed to keep the deer away, but has to be replaced every time it rains.
